Summary

Habits is designed to respect your privacy. Your data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it.

Data Storage

All habit and thing data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. No data leaves your device unless you opt in to cloud sync.

Cloud Sync (Optional)

If you sign in with Apple or Google, your data is synced to a Supabase-hosted database so it can be accessed across your devices. You can delete your account and all cloud data at any time from Settings.

Notifications

Habits uses local notifications only. No data is sent to external push notification services. Notification scheduling happens entirely on your device.

Analytics & Tracking

Habits does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising. We do not collect usage data.

Personal information beyond your sign-in identity (if you choose to create an account)
Location data
Contacts or photos
Device identifiers for advertising

Data Export & Deletion

You can export all your data as a JSON file from Settings at any time. You can delete individual habits and things, or delete your entire account and cloud data from Settings.
